NICK TAN MEOW KHOON

NICK TAN MEOW KHOON aka NICK commence his legal journey prior to his legal studies. He started as a legal clerk in a small island in Malaysia, Penang, in a litigation firm in year 2007 and then proceeded to a corporate and conveyancing firm in year 2009. He then further his service to multinational company in year 2011 and is his final position prior to his embarkment to the real legal industry was a legal assistant to a successful Malaysian tycoon owning few reputable public listed companies in Malaysia, Hong Kong and Singapore.
In qualification, he pursues his part-time law degree, Bachelor of Jurisprudence from University of Malaya in year 2008 and graduated in year 2011. During his service in corporates, he continues his part-time education and he obtained his Diploma in International Arbitration from Malaysian Institute of Arbitration (MIArb) (Arbitrator) In year 2013 and Certificate of Legal Practice (CLP) in year 2014.
He was called to the bar in year 2016 after he read and guided by Dato Ahmad Redza bin Abdullah, in Messrs Shahrizat, Rashid & Lee in year 2015 and he was retained as an associate in corporate and banking department to work on corporate banking and property conveyance matter.
From his vast experience trough his footsteps in various industry, he leaps from associate and founded his first partnership in Messrs. Jaya & Tan in year 2017 predominately practicing in corporate advisory and commercial crime where he can be seen in high profile commercial crime cases reported in local and international media.
In year 2019, he joined Messrs Tan & Khong Chambers as a founding partner who founded the corporate and conveyancing department of the firm and he obtained few bank panelships as well as representing international corporations in corporate matters.
